Mission & History Charlestown Lacrosse & Learning Center envisions a community in which young people of all ages and backgrounds possess the leadership skills, self-confidence and knowledge to succeed on the field, in the classroom and in life.
Reed Catlin joined the CLLC as the head coach of the U7 boys team in March of 2014 and took over as the Executive Director in October of 2014.
Reed received a B.A. in Electrical Engineering in 2003 from the University of Virginia, and an MBA in 2011 from Babson College. He has previously worked with the U.S. Navy, Booz Allen Hamilton, and several private companies.
Originally from Hingham, MA, Reed started playing lacrosse at age 11, played 3 years of varsity at Hingham High School, and went on to play on the UVA club team.
Reed moved to Charlestown in early 2013 with his wife Laura and looks forward to working closely with the community to build on the organization's successful heritage and find new and innovative ways to execute its important mission.
